Devizes and District Conservative Club

The Club has been in existence for many years and moved to its current location in “Wilsford House” 30 Long Street, Devizes in 1961. It occupies an attractive Grade 2 listed building. Its location is central to the town and provides car parking for members whilst using the Club. It also operates a car park rental scheme for permit holders.

The Club is a registered member’s club consisting of approximately 1000 members. Membership is open to anybody over the age of 18 years who has been proposed and seconded by a member. Disabled access is provided.

The committee’s intention is to create a friendly social atmosphere and, to this end, it regularly promotes dances, bingo, quizzes and other ad-hoc entertainment.

There are two well-stocked bars with a wide range of drinks at very competitive prices. Real ales such as Wadworth IPA and Guest beers are offered along with lagers, cider, guinness and keg beers. A full range of spirits is also available.

The Club boasts a function room/skittle alley, lounge and front bar, gaming machine room, two full sized snooker tables, rifle range, seminar room and 2 x upstairs committee rooms. The club is fortunate to have it’s own 5* kitchen premises and in-house caterers.

A beautiful garden area is situated off the main lounge and a decent-sized car park is to the side of the property.

Members and non members may book any of the rooms for various events at reasonable rates.
